REQUIREMENTS

• ABET Certificate.
• Higher qualifications will serve as an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning services.
• Knowledge of chemical use and dilution.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment used.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of record keeping.
• Understanding and ability to apply safety rules.
• Understanding of how to correctly apply and use chemicals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean offices, corridors, elevators and boardrooms.
• Dust, wax, sweep and scrub floors.
• Vacuum and shampoo floors.
• Clean walls, windows and doors.
• Empty and clean dirt bins.
• Collect and remove waste paper.
• Freshen office areas.
• Clean general kitchens, including basins.
• Wash and maintain kitchen utensils.
• Clean restrooms and refill hand-wash liquid soap.
• Replace toilet paper and empty wash waste bins.
• Keep and maintain cleaning materials.
• Report broken machines and equipment.
• Clean machines such as microwaves and vacuum cleaners after use.
• Request cleaning materials when required.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
