REQUIREMENTS:
ABET or Grade 10 qualification. Relevant experience required. Applicants must be at least semi-skilled in plumbing, electrical work, bricklaying, carpentry or mechanical work, be willing to perform other trades, be eager to learn, and be physically healthy.

DUTIES:
- Provide handyman services at the court.
- Relocate office equipment when required.
- Coordinate the removal of damaged office equipment and repair or replace broken furniture.
- Ensure safe use of equipment during all tasks.
- Replace light globes and repair plugs.
- Unblock toilets, basins and drains.
- Fit and repair doors and locks.
- Ensure all work complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and departmental standards.
- Oversee the quality of office equipment delivered.
- Execute minor building maintenance.
- Report building defects to the supervisor for landlord repairs.
- Repair damaged office equipment.
- Attend to minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry work.
- Sign job cards for services rendered.
- Oversee maintenance carried out by service providers.
- Facilitate repairs to water leaks.
- Repair office furniture and equipment.
- Ensure electrical systems operate safely.
- Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly building inspections.
- Accompany landlords and contractors during repairs and maintenance.
- Record infrastructure inspections and maintain maintenance records.
