Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
Knowledge of:
- Health Information Management
- Data validation and interpretation
Computer skills:
- MS Word
- MS Excel
- MS PowerPoint
- MS Access
Web-DHIS certificate or experience (advantage)
Valid driver’s licence (advantage / required in some cases)
Strong communication skills
Understanding of Batho Pele Principles

Duties

Capture and manage health data on systems like Web-DHIS
Compile monthly and quarterly reports (National Tertiary Services Grant)
Collect, validate, and analyse health data
Ensure data quality and accuracy
Train staff on data-capturing procedures
Reconcile data between wards and reporting units
Monitor information systems and usage
Support health information management processes

Key Skills Needed

Attention to detail
Computer literacy (especially Excel)
Data analysis and reporting
Communication and teamwork
Ability to work under pressure and overtime
