Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification
• No experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Coordination, planning and organisational skills

• Problem-solving ability
• Flexibility and discipline

Duties

• Provide clerical support to Military Legal Services
• Handle routine correspondence and process documents
• Answer and direct telephone calls
• Take notes and type documents for the Officer in Charge
• Process inland travel, expenditure and accommodation claims
• Manage the Officer in Charge’s diary and meeting schedules
• Receive visitors and arrange refreshments
• File and maintain documents
• Compile and type letters, invitations and acknowledgements
• Perform basic calculations and maintain statistics
• Receive and transmit messages via fax
