As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Driver Salesman.

Duties & Responsibilities

1.1 To ensure the prompt transport and efficient delivery of goods

• Deliveries should be made 48 hours after receiving the order
• There should be no customer complaints received from marketing and customers

1.2 To ensure that the delivery procedures are adhered to and that the documentation is maintained

• Deliveries should be made with invoices and a signature for stock should be complete (POD)

1.3 To ensure there is an efficient operation of the delivery fleet

• Vehicles should be maintained within scheduled parameters
• PDPs and licenses must be renewed before the expiry date
• Tyre pressures must be checked on a daily basis
• Vehicles should be clean at all times

1.4 To ensure effective and efficient stock returned

• Stock returned should be authorised by depot manager

1.5 To sell Sunbake Bread to potential customers

• Maximise sales
• Hit rate at 95% daily
• Sell confectionery to customers
• Return all crates to the bakery on a daily basis
• Reduce write off to 1%

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Driver’s License with valid PDP
