The following position has become available for a General Worker, based in Kempton Park.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Picks products and makes up orders as per customer orders and transfers them to the holding area for checking.
Ensures that the correct seed reference numbers are picked and reports all incorrect reference numbers to the Stock Controller.
Ensures that all items picked are in a clean and saleable condition and meet laid down quality standards with regard to packaging, labelling, outer appearance, and neatness.
Follows stock rotation procedure, FIFO (first in first out), as per Stock Controller instructions when picking orders.
Assists with the bi-annual as well as ad hoc stock counts/checks as per the Stock Controller’s instructions.
Assists fellow workers with the execution of tasks whenever their own responsibilities have been executed and completed.
Ensures that work area/s are neat, tidy, organised, and clean at all times.
Assists with and adheres to security measures to ensure the safety of products, assets, and the facility.
