Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laundry Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and processing all laundry items in a timely and efficient manner. The Laundry Worker will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laundry area and performing other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to specific instructions
• Inspect laundry items for stains or damages and treat them accordingly
• Operate laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and request replenishment as needed
• Ensure that all laundry items are properly labeled and stored in designated areas
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures while handling laundry items
• Perform general cleaning tasks in the laundry area and surrounding areas
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a commercial laundry facility is preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy laundry items
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
