EPWP IS HIRING CLEANERS: R311.00 PER DAY

EPWP Programme: 2 X Skilled Environmental Monitors
EPWP Employment opportunity currently exists for 2 x Skilled Environmental monitors within Groenkloof National Park. The above-mentioned position is a fixed-term contract up to the end of 31 March 2026.

The appointed participant or Environmental Monitor will be paid a wage rate of R311.00 per day as per Expanded Public Works Programme rates.

Requirements
Grade 12.
Cleaning experience of 1 to 2 years.
Stock Taking experience.
Knowledge of First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety
Good hygiene practices.
Punctual, neat and responsible.
Ability to work under pressure.
Comply with OHS regulations.

Responsibilities
Daily cleaning of offices, ablutions, reception areas, passages, and open areas.
Preparing boardrooms and meeting areas and set -up refreshments.
Report abnormalities and ensure it is rectified.
Handle lost properties in terms of procedures.
Emptying waste bins and transporting waste materials to designation collection areas.
Control cleaning materials in possession.
Maintain a high level of cleaning standards.
Adhere to emergences and relieve schedules when requested by the supervisor.
Replenish consumables items (Toilet papers, paper towels, soap, etc).
Assist with stock issuing and receiving and do stock taking.
Assist with other ad hoc tasks as required by supervisor.
