Cleaner Position: Must Have Grade 10

SA Steelworks has a position for a trustworthy, committed and hardworking Cleaner to join the SA Steelworks plant based in Airport Industria.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Housekeeping – Ensuring the cleanliness of the work areas in all departments
Cleaning of floors, work areas
Clean, dust and polish furniture and fittings
Sweeping and mopping of floors
Cleaning of walls and windows
Cleaning and disinfecting kitchen, toilet and bathroom fixtures and floors
Empty and clean waste containers daily
Clean areas surrounding buildings, such as paths and entrances
Assist managers and other senior staff members with ad hoc duties
Adhering to all covid 19 protocols in place
A variety of other physical labor work in our production department

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Grade 10
3-5 years minimum working experience as a cleaner
Ability to write and read in English
Must be presentable and punctual
Be prepared to work shifts, overtime, weekends and public holidays when required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willing and eager to learn
Honest, trustworthy and reliable
Ability to work under challenging conditions
Basic knowledge of Health & Safety rules
Good Communication Skills
In good health & Physically fit
