Requirements : Grade 10 / Equivalent. Basic literacy and Numeracy skills. Ability to function cleaning machines. Good verbal and written conversation skills. Knowledge and application of the Batho Pele Principles and six key priorities.

Duties: Cleaning of the mortuary, wards, offices, flooring spillages, lifts, stairs, skirtings, walls, windows, and Public Toilets. Cleaning of Patients and bodies of workers lockers, fridges, toilets, bathrooms, kitchens, benches, mattress wheels, and Emergency Department stretchers. Wash curtains and dishes. Do damp and excessive dusting. Ensure that bogs checklists are typically updated. Collection and returning of patient’s meals trolleys from the major kitchen. Attending work-related errands. Sluicing of linen, counting, and recording of dirty linen. Attending to customary and scientific waste. Able to work underneath pressure. Must be capable to work shifts such as nighttime duty.
