Job Description
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Taking full responsibility and accountability
• Vehicle check sheets / report faults
• Stock
• Cash
• Safe work procedures/ Policies and Procedures
• Relationships
• Communication
• Timekeeping
• Dress code
• Van assistant Vehicle check sheets / report faults
• Ensure that before you leave the premises that you complete truck check list
• Ensure you report any faults found on your truck during the day to the Transport workshop.

Stock.
• Ensure the bread is in good condition before leaving the premises.
• Do not offload any damaged bread – return to the branch and inform supervisor.
• Ensure that the correct amount of product has been loaded on your truck before departure, as ordered by you. Cash.
• Collect cash from customer.
• Double check cash before leaving the store.
• Check instruction on invoice and ensure cash or account.
• Drop cash in safe immediately when back at truck.
• All cash to be collected on a daily basis and paid in at the cash office as per Cash Handling

Procedure. Safe work procedures
• Do not exceed speed limits – 60 km/hour in town and 80 km/hour on the open road.
• Obey all set company Rules, Procedures and Policies. Relationships/ Communication
• Ensure good customer relationships.
• Assist in customer complaints by liaising with Sales Department. • Communicate with customers in a professional manner.

Dress code
• Always wear correct dress code.
• Protective clothing: keep clean and in good repair. You are an ambassador of Sunbake. Van assistants
• The driver/salesman accepts the responsibility for the Van Assistant under his direct supervision.

Minimum Requirements
Matric or equivalent Sales or marketing certificate added as an advantage Valid driver’s licence with PDP (Code 10) Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience as salesman Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
