JOB DESCRIPTION

To force a heavy motor vehicle, to and from exceptional locations for the series and/or deliveries of items as per agency schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 or NQF Level four equivalent
A Valid code EC licence with PDP (Code 14)
At least three years’ trip in a comparable position with traceable references
A legitimate forklift licence will be advantageous
Bilingual in Afrikaans and English of which fluent in English
A clear crook record
Proven capacity to manoeuvre, reverse and pack car into limited spaces
Good patron interplay abilities with each internal/external customers
A willingness to work overtime, incl. Saturdays, when required

JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform scheduled and unscheduled deliveries and collections to and from particular places as urged by using management
Strict adherence to business using guidelines whilst riding on public roads
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on automobile in accordance to business enterprise policy
Ensure items are secured efficaciously earlier than departure and car seals/ locks are no longer tampered with upon arrival at destination
Ensure that all deliveries have been signed and delivered to the right recipient
Ensure correct and exact completion of logbooks and different transport documents
Adherence to loading and offloading processes at business enterprise and consumer premises
Ensure that automobile is saved smooth and maintained as per time table at all times
Understanding and compliance with applicable Occupational Safety, Health, Environment and Quality necessities inside the work environment
Operating forklift when required
Any different obligations as may also be required with the aid of management

Ability to engage with consumers in a respectful, beneficial and responsive manner
Ability to work correctly with others
Effective verbal exchange skills
Ability to record, analyse and file data (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently when the function requires
