About the role

To administer, file and kwiktag documents for the Payroll department. The candidate will be part of the Payroll team in Waterfall. The purpose of the position is to perform payroll filing activities for the Payroll department.

Essential skills and experience

  • Data capturing and scanning – Kwiktag
  • Assisting the payroll consultants with leave recons and capturing of info on VIP
  • Collecting and delivering of confidential documents from HC and Finance
  • Responsible for Alexander Forbes withdrawals, online submission
  • Doing manual filing for Payroll manager and consultants (archiving of files)
  • Distributing/folding of payslips for staff that has no access to computer

Required qualifications

  • Matric
  • Minimum 2 years in a payroll environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Experience in a payroll environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail / Accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficient in use of Ms Word and Excel
  • Prepared to work overtime if required
